Many countries have reported that exports to sub-Sahara increased significantly in the past decade. U.S. agricultural exports to sub-Sahara for example increased by more than 50 percent in the past decade.
The East African Economy is estimated to host a population of 153.12 Million people and a Gross Domestic Product (GDP) of USD 108.98 Billion. With the progressive growth of the East African Community and ease of doing business, the region holds a key export opportunity for SMES.
